Amazing!!

I know this is random and totally NOT the purpose of this product but I just have to say that Woolite pet stain + oxygen carpet cleaner is amazing!! It just took barbie pink nail polish out of Moira's fleece pajamas!!! ( yes nail polish + 2.5 year olds equals mess!)

yarn intervention needed

Wow I went to JoAnn's today just to pick up a yarn that I needed well that was a bad idea!
I ended up getting the yarn I needed plus 7 others!!!
I just found this yarn and cant wait to try it out.

there is no place like home

We are back at home after two days at the beach. I love the beach I love getting out of the house but there is a reason I like to do just day trips.
Moira is CRAZY! I mean out of the head crazy when we are not in our house at night. I'm not talking non stop crying I'm talking running around jumping on/off everything. Touching EVERYTHING! That girl was running around the hotel room till 9:30pm when she finally passed out, but don't think all is well no at 3:30am I get woke up by Moira running around the room saying "Morning mommy lets go to the BEACH!" Well it took till 5am to get her to go back to bed, then we were back up at 8am!
Yes I love my daughter but I love her more when we are in our own home at night! ;o)
I have a new "car knitting project" I created while on the trip I'm calling it a travel lovey I'll have photos up soon plus 2 market bags that are done and waiting for photos!
Well hope you all had much more sleep then I did :o)

Ok so that wasn't what I expected

So I went to the dentist today. And the pain I have been feeling is not from a bad tooth (but they did find a bad filling on the other side that I have to get fixed tomorrow). He (and btw very cute) said my teeth are fine but he thinks I have bruxism which is just a fancy word for I clench my jaw a lot. So don't really know how to stop doing that being that I do it mostly in my sleep and when stressed.
So tomorrow I get a filling just not on the area that has been causing me the crazy pain I have been going threw.

Soon but so far

Well I got a good phone call this morning from my Dentist, they had a cancellation and wanted to know if I wanted to take it and I was very happy to do that. But its not till tomorrow morning! Ugh still in pain, but at least I will get in tomorrow instead of Wednesday. So one more sleep till I get to find out the damage. I know its my fault because I haven't been in 4 years! But that's because the last time I went was very traumatic! I went to a dentist that I had never been to before but was the only one that my state insurance would pay for. I had 4 cavities (I have very very thin enamel) and they filled them with out giving me anything to numb me! Yes thats right they drilled into my 4 teeth with out Novocaine no laughing gas nothing! So yeah I was terrified to ever go back! Well in the 4 years since I went, that dentist has gone out of business and the insurance has given me a new place to go. Now hopefully they will be kind with me but the only reason I am overcoming this HUGE fear of the dentist is because I'm in soooooooooooo much pain! I'm telling you I have been living on tylenol and using ice packs 24 hours a day!

Moira's first solo ride!

Skunket

So I finished skunket last night (was up till midnight because of the escaping child).
So I took a quick photo of her she already got loved on and I'm not happy with the pattern, they have you knit it flat and I HATE to sew seams if I don't have to. So I'm going to tweak the pattern and knit it in the round and show you skunket 2.0 ;o)
We went to the birthday party today, and the kettle with veggies and a chicken was a HUGE hit!! She has been caring her broccoli around all day ;o) I'm glad she liked it as much as I liked making it! She inspired the designer in me! Next up I'm going to design a fruit salad kit.
On other happy but makes me cry a little inside news, Moira road her tricycle all by her self today! She is growing up so fast, first escaping the crib and now riding a bike! I feel like she is going to be asking for the keys to the car next lol.
They can't stay little forever no mater how much we wish it.

The sound that has changed my life forever!

My lovely 2 and a half year old daughter woke me up this morning by knocking on my door!
Yep that's right she has learned how to get out of the crib!!!
Now I know most people don't get this long to live in peaceful confidence that your child will be where you left them when you wake up, but I was hoping it would go on forever lol!
Not sure what I'm going to do guess I'll have to have the baby monitor set up again so I can make sure she isn't touring her room when she should be sleeping.
How did you guys deal with your escape artists?

Good news sore news

Well good news is I found the camera charger! Bad news it was a rainy day.
I started skunket (my girly skunk) She has a head a body a tail and two arms. So tomorrow she should be ready for her close up!
On other news I have had a killer headache from a sore tooth and I can't get into the dentist till Wednesday! UGH!! Tooth pain is just sooo painful. I can put up with kidney stones (have had them 4 times) But tooth pain is just so hard to get on top of! Why is it you can always get a same day visit with your Dr when your in pain but the dentist is always booked up?
This is when I wish painkillers were legal to sell over the counter!

Well I never found the charger so I only had enough juice for one shot and I have decided my camera sucks at photographing anything PURPLE! So yeah the photo makes me look like I have blue hair when it really looks like this
Plus you are seeing a very rare thing here. I never leave my house or take photos of myself with out my bald head covered! LOL I tried a little Donald trump comb over for you though, I couldn't bare it all for you!

So tomorrow if its sunny and I find that damn charger I will attempt another shot at the color but I'm afraid that I will be doing this with most of it covered being that our yard isn't privet. and I'm stressing enough at showing the world once my bald head.

Fun with little hair and other itchy things

Well this post is off topic a little bit.
If you know me in person you know that I don't have a lot of hair and cover my head with scarves and bandannas (sp?). I have PCOS and my mothers side of the family all have thin hair. So since I was 12 years old my hair has been falling out. My mom always let me do what I wanted with my hair being that she knew it wasn't going to be there forever.
So I like to have "colorful" hair (even if people only get to see the bangs) . I'm excited because I have a new color to try out tonight. Midnight purple! I'll post photos tonight if I can remember to charge my camera. Which means I have to remember where I left the charger ;o)
I swear my memorie is great with remembering conversations, but I can never remember where I put things!
Also my HIVES are back and I HATE that! See last year I started getting hives out of the blue just one day hives poped up on my hands and I had never had a hive before in my life. Well I had them all over my body for 5 months straight after that day! The Dr was no help cause they couldn't figure out what was causing them and they told me they would go away "someday". Well let me tell you I wanted to slap the Dr right then and there! So 3 months ago the hives just stoped dont know why but let me tell you I was soooo happy! Well that ended yesterday :o( yep they came back and I have them right now as I tell you about them. The crazy thing is that I will get one on a finger and it will drive me crazy for an hour then go away but then 2 more will show up on the other arm then those stop and then my neck will be covered! its like chasing your tail (if you were a dog) you never get to the end!
Ugh well enough griping about that, off to start dinner and then have fun with my little tuft of hair ;o)

Kettle and a spoon

OK I think the gift is finely complete!
I made a bag, of my own design, that holds the veggies and chicken and spoon for storage when not in use,

but also works as the kettle when you open it for hours of enjoyment for the kiddos to "cook".
Plus I thought how can you cook with out a wooden spoon to stir with, so I made another pattern for a wooden spoon!
